Raver Dating vs Radiate
One is built for finding people at events. The other is built for dating people in the scene. Here's how to choose.
Radiate and Raver Dating both exist because the people you meet on a night out often aren't the people on mainstream dating apps. But they do different jobs, and knowing which is which saves you a lot of swiping in the wrong place.
What Radiate is
On its App Store page (checked 11 October 2026), Radiate describes itself as “the leading way to connect” with people going to the same concerts, festivals and nightlife events. Its main features are group chats and forums for each event, a marketplace for tickets and clothing with buyer and seller protection, and a 3D map showing events and what your friends are doing.
It's free to download. Its optional upgrade, Radiate Glow, is a monthly or longer subscription, and it also sells tokens inside the app. The App Store lists it as 18+, and its rating is 4.9 out of 5 from around 31,000 ratings.
What Raver Dating is
Raver Dating is a dating site for people into raves and electronic music. You make a profile with your photos and what you're into, get match suggestions every day based on things like age, distance, what you're looking for and your interests, and message people you like.
Members can verify their ID for free and get a badge on their profile, and there's a quick video check with a moderator for anyone who'd rather not share documents. Your profile shows your town, never your exact location. It works in any phone browser and can be saved to your home screen – there's no app-store app.

Who Radiate suits
Radiate is the better pick when you're going to a particular festival or night and want to find people who'll be there – to share a lift, meet up at a stage, or pick up a spare ticket. If what you want is a crew for this weekend, it's built for exactly that.
Who Raver Dating suits
Raver Dating is the better pick when you want to date someone who's into the same music, whether or not you're going to the same event. Your matches don't disappear when the festival ends, and the whole point is getting to know someone rather than co-ordinating a meet-up.
Three questions to decide
Are you going to a specific event soon and want people to go with? Radiate. Do you want to meet someone you'd date whether or not you're at the same festival? Raver Dating. Do you want someone to message on the train home who already knows the music? That's Raver Dating too – your match suggestions don't stop when the weekend does.
Using both
They don't compete for the same job, so plenty of people will happily use both: Radiate for the logistics of a weekend away, Raver Dating for meeting someone you'd want to see again on the Monday.
